Photoshop.com has launched an update for their free app for Android. Version 1.1 needed a few tweaks and Adobe has stepped up to the plate and fine tuned this app to make even more user-friendly. This is quick work on Adobe's part as the original app was only launched a mere six months ago.

Included in the changes are contrast and brightening editing abilities along with a wide variety of effects. The effects included below users to tweak pictures directly from their android handsets with things like Blur, Pop, Vibrant, Rainbow and Warm Vintage. The contrast feature will allow for the addition of either White Glow or Soft Black & White to the pictures.

Adobe also announced that they will be giving the ability to developers for embedding this software directly into their own apps. This is great news for developers who decided that they need some sort of photo editing software included in their applications. This updated app has a wide variety of real world applications that should make it a must-have app for many people.

For instance, a real estate agent can take a picture of a home, tweak it then send it directly to their computer to be posted when the home goes up for sale. This will allow them to put showcase pictures right on their web sites without having to go through two or three steps to take them, send them to the computer and then edit and post. People who do this type of business on the go, this app will be a great benefit.

There are quite a bit of fun uses for this app as friends can take pictures of friends, tweak them and send them to other friends. This app pretty much ensures that you will never take a bad picture with your phone again. The update is available for free in the Android Market.
