The case fits the phone very well when properly seated. The case comes in two pieces to accommodate the slider.

This product is great and snaps around your phone like a vice….and by a vice i mean a bulldog that has just bit on a raw stake and he hasn’t eaten in a week. And that is the down side to the product, if u ever have to pop the batter out u have to get the glove off, and you can damage the phone trying to get it out if your not careful. I had to mod mine by shaving down on of the clamps so that the phone can slip out easy and still be protected.

Let me start out by saying this is a wonderful product that fits the Droid perfectly. The clip that goes onto your belt and the quick release system works great. There is a little button that goes on the back that snaps into your belt clip. You can choose not to use the clip and replace the button with circular insert that covers up the hole left when you remove the button. Very creative design.
As others have stated, there is no need to ever remove this case since all the ports and buttons you need access to are cut out. Also, it feels great in your hand and doesn’t have a lot of bulk.
Having said all this, I am going to return it for one reason. The screen is exposed when you clip it onto your belt. This makes me feel comfortable as I travel a lot on airplanes, trains and cabs. I am worried that it will get bumped into and damage the screen. I know i can purchase a good screen protector like invisible shield, but I am more concerned about a hard bump. If this doesnt concern you, then I highly recommend this case. But I would say purchase a good screen protector like Invisible shield or Bodyguardz. I have used the invisible shield on my HTC Touch Pro and it works awesome and does give you a good grip on the phone.
My solution is going to be to install the invisible shield on all the phone and purchase the holster that Verizon sells. The phone goes into the holster screen side down so only the back of the phone is exposed when worn on your belt.
I hope my thoughts are helpful. BTW you can find the invisible shield by Zagg here at Amazon. (This is not a commercial)…

I would not buy it again, and this is why…
The cover looks and fits great, however, the top cover blocks the microphone on the Droid and everyone I talked to complained about the quality of my voice. It was installed correctly with the cutout at the bottom for the microphone.
I thought the Droid was the problem until I pulled the top cover off during a call. Then the person on the other end said, “Before you sounded like you were underwater, now you sound clear”.
You would think a company would actually test the product before manufacturing it…

This is the best Cell Phone Cover I have owned to date. It is a little snug but at the same time it is comforting to know the case is stable. It is a 2 piece cover allowing you to use all the Droid features. The texture of the case is especially nice in that it slightly grips your hands and surfaces. The keyboard slideout is a little stiff but i don’t mind that at all. I would recommend purchasing a screen protector so your screen does not become scratched while not compromising the phones touch capabilities.
