I purchased 2 of these and both work fine for charging and for transferring data between my Droid and computer. It also works with an AC transformer to plug directly into a wall outlet or a DC transformer for charging in the car. Outstanding value.

Beware,
This cable can only transfer data from a PC. It cannot charge the Droid when EITHER plugged into a PC or into the wall charger.
Look elsewhere….

This cable is exactly the same as the one that is shipped with the Droid. It DOES charge and DOES connect to the computer. You can also get a micro USB cable and do teh same thing.

Lose-fitting Chinese piece of junk. Doesn’t work. Although it only cost $3 (plus shipping), it’s a waste of money and not worth my time to bother sending it back for a refund. Garbage. wish I could rate it zero stars.
