I have heard the rumors that the Google Nexus one phone will be released in January. Possibly January 5th. I am getting a new cell phone for christmas, but I still havent decided on which one. Im on T Mobile right now, but my contract expires early january, and i may switch to AT&T because my parents are on that plan.
If anyone knows anything about the Google phone, is it worth the hype? Is it likely to be released in early January? Will it be expensive? I dont know if I should go with the myTouch 3g, the Iphone, or wait for the Nexus One Google phone. I prefer android heavily over apple.
Can anyone please shed some light on this situation? All I can find is speculation so far. Im not sure if thats enough to count on.

The Google Phone is definitely worth the wait and lives up to the hype. It has a 3.7″ screen, 1Ghz processor, LED screen, trackball, Android 2.1, and its the Google Phone!
Now, it is still unknown on whether it will be released on January 5th or not, no one knows yet for sure. It is also rumored to be around $200 without contract, which is really cheap. The Nexus One is way better than the MyTouch and iPhone its specs blows both of these phones out of the water. Your plan will also be very cheap (T Mobile has UNLIMITED EVERYTHING (text, calls, data) for only $80. Unlimited everything on AT&T is like $190.
