Hi, I have an HTC Hero (UK). I want to know how to upgrade to Android 2.1. Can someone please tell me how to upgrade to the new 2.1.

Apparently, HTC has begun to push a 2.1 to Heroes in the UK in late June. The OTA updates are often done in waves, so you may not have received a notification on your phone yet. In the setup menu, there’s an option to check for updates. Try activating that. Otherwise, you can wait a bit longer.
You can also mod the phone by rooting it and adding a custom ROM with 2.1, but you might just want to wait for the OTA update.
