   the AMOLED screen it has is made by Samsung and there is a shortage of them.

   Demand was much higher than anticipated – this always happens with this kind of stuff. Just wait a few weeks for a new shipment to get one (PS. I want one too =P)

   Its a marketing secret. It makes people want it more when they see that it has sold out so fast.

   The shortages started back when it first went on sale. Verizon did a pre-sale 10 days before it launched, and they took thousands upon thousands of orders- all without a single second of advertising time.. All the advertising was completely viral on the internet- people following it on the forums and blogs, etc.. I know- I was one of them.. My local store got 20 Incredibles initially- sold 15 on the first day and the rest the next day, and has been sold out ever since, as has every store in the country, since all the Incredibles are being allocated to the warehouse for the customers who have already ordered.. Now, Samsung can’t keep up with the demand for the AMOLED screen, so that’s making things worse.. It’s still not too bad though- if you order today, it’s guaranteed to be shipped within 3 weeks

   I ordered mine in store on May 10th and received it May 27th. It was worth the wait though!
