How Much Does the HTC Hero for Sprint cost?

Posted on 16 June 2010 by admin

I currently have an LG Lotus that just barely works. I haven't had but for about 6 months now and I would really like to upgrade around my birthday in April. How much does the HTC Hero cost from Sprint without any new plan discounts or a yearly upgrade discount? I checked the website with "savings and mail in rebates" it's at about $200 but I don't know that much about it. I was wondering if the "instant savings" were for a new plan or yearly upgrade?

Thanks!

    1. Kerry Says:

The instant savings are for purchasing with a new two-year agreement, which you won’t be eligible to do until at least 22 months after you upgraded to the Lotus. The mail-in rebate is also a part of that.

To purchase the phone without a contract renewal, you will pay full price, which is $479.99.

Your other options are to speak to customer service about having your Lotus repaired (888-217-4727) or to purchase a Hero on eBay. If you purchase a device on eBay, get the ESN from the seller before purchasing and have Sprint customer service check to make sure you’ll be able to use it.
