If I Bought a HTC Desire with Android 2.1 would it be possible to upgrade it to the new 2.2 version?

      yah if you just go to system updates it will just tell you if their is a new update for your specific phone ..sometimes their isnt a update… you just have to wait..

      Yes, HTC has announced that the 2.2 (Froyo) upgrade for the Desire will arrive in Q3 of this year. If you don’t want to wait for the official OTA (Over The Air) upgrade, you can root your phone and port an unofficial version of Froyo to it. From what I’ve heard, the update will be coming within the month, so I would just wait for the OTA update if you aren’t comfortable rooting your phone.

      Hopefully it should be out either this or next month.
