Is the GPS service on Google’s Nexus One totally free?

i noticed nokia offer a gps service which is totally free with the Ovi Maps. i wonder, will the gps service on the nexus one be free or charged?

      it is free although the service plan you have (at&t, Verizon, Sprint) will charge you data fees so before using it, I would get unlimited data
