Should I get a Blackberry or an Android phone?

Posted on 11 August 2010 by admin

My upgrade day is coming up and i wanna get a new phone but im very indecisive and i need help... lol. Well i have sprint and i dont wanna get the hero or the moment for android cause they are outdated. The only Blackberry on Sprint I like is the 9650. I know the Samsung Epic 4G is coming out soon so should I just wait for that or get the Blackberry cause I cant pay the extra ten dollar data premium if the epic has that. Also i do a lot of web browsing and stuff i dont download stuff though, i text a lot like 8,000 plus a month so i need a good keyboard

Thanks for the help :)

Ok and i cant get the evo 4g because of the 10 dollar data premium so don't suggest that phone :)
i also need a physical QWERTY keyboard but i know most most android phones dont have one besides the Samsung intercept or the epic 4g which isnt out yet

As long as you don’t add the 4G service to your plan then you shouldn’t need to pay it.
I would go for the Epic 4G.

The $10.00 is a premium data charge, required with the phone, and has nothing to do with 4G. It is likely to be required with the Epic as it is with the Evo.

Why not call customer service to make sure you’re on the best plan for you? If they can find a plan that costs a bit less, adding that $10.00 charge won’t matter so much. It’s soooooo worth it to have the Evo or the Epic.

If you still can’t do it, go for the Intercept (the Moment has been replaced by the Intercept) over a Blackberry. Blackberry is great for business, but they aren’t “fun.” Android is much better, even if it’s not brand new.
