I have been happy with my AT&T service. There is a wide range of plans starting at around $29.99 /month. Rollover minutes is really good if you do a lot of talking.

if you’re willing to pay the extra money get the new iphone. the service and reception is really good and also they are tons of fun. there are tons of applications that range from translators to games to even one thats a zippo lighter (which i found hilarious). internet access is easy to use and pretty quick. and on top of all that… its still an ipod!!! so internet, useful and fun apps, and all your music. what else do you need
