I have an upgrade available, (annual, not NE2) & I'm stuck in a 'pickle' for picking a new phone. It's between the Motorola Droid, the Motorola Droid X, & the HTC Incredible.
PRO'S:
Motorola Droid- design, weight/feel, screen size, colors, keyboard, probably the most customizable Android phone to date & stock Android.
Motorola Droid X- big, nice touch screen, 1GHZ processor, camera & stock Android.
HTC Droid Incredible- design, the speed, 1GHZ processor, camera.
CON'S:
Motorola Droid- won't get Gingerbread, a little slower, a little heavy.
Motorola Droid X- if I buy it, it might sell out too quick, the camera 'hump'.
HTC Incredible- plasticy feel, Sense UI, backorderd. D;
if you can offer me any phone to get, then I might get it!
thanks in advance.

If the size doesn’t bother you, go for the X.
If you can be patient, wait for the Incredible.
If you are willing to root your device and stick custom Gingerbread roms on it (when it comes to be), the Droid.
Personally, I’d order the Incredible and wait. Good amount of power, without the size of the X.

I don’t see the Sense UI as a con, but I would go with the Droid X, because it’s the newest, and the most advanced.

1. There is no Android phone that is more customizable than any other- they’re all exactly alike in terms of what you can customize..
2. Droid X is not quite stock Android- it has a Moto skin on top of it..
3. Doesn’t matter if the Droid won’t get Gingerbread- you can root
4. The hump on the X is barely noticeable, according to most reviews, and even helps while holding it..
5. The Incredible doesn’t feel plasticky at all, and I definitely wouldn’t call Sense a con..
Personally, I’d say first decide if you want a keyboard or not- if you do, then wait for the Droid 2, which should be out in August or September.. If you don’t need a keyboard, then wait til the 15th to compare the X and the Incredible, and decide between those 2
