why did google pick t-mobile for the nexus one?

Posted on 27 February 2010 by admin

already t-mobile had a press Conference saying that the nexus one drops from 3G to 2G and no one knows why. they blame it on the nexus one hardware and google blames t-mobile. I know why.
you have at&t, verizon and sprint and you pick t-mobile...lol
that's like having a i7 processor with a 200w power supply...lol it's not the phone it's the carrier.

      No its the phone.

You have to keep in mind that T-Mobiles new 3G network operates on two seperate frequencys unlike the rest of the mobile cariers. However this should be an easy fix via downloadable firmware update for the phone.

you ask why they went with t-mobile? well GSM is the most popular type of cellular service world wide. In the USA you have two GSM cariers, Tmobile and AT&T. AT&T has the iphone so there only other choice was T-Mobile. I’m actualy glad to see it on t-Mobile. they were super late to bring 3G data speeds on board but thats not 100% their fault, there was some government holdups.

But they are making a CDMA version of the Nexus so you will soon see it on Verizon too.
