Will AltaVista, Lycos, Ask Jeeves or any other web search engines come out with their own smartphone?

A major web search engine, Google, recently produced a cellular phone named Nexus One.

      Probably not, Google is a great company and they have a lot of liquidity (read money) sitting around that they can use on anything. So Google goes out and invests in different things, while the other search engines don’t; they simply don’t have the cash to do it.

      no, not at this moment,
      because, they all are free search engine, and lycos is music player company.
      google can afford all this, as its quarterly profit is in billions.

      but if there is any update, i keep u posted.
