      Ubuntu is free,I like it and used it a little bit. The company pays for xp tho if you want that with their oem. I am trying to set up a Ubuntu 9.04 desktop.

      Yes, free for us because the company’s that make the laptops have to pay for it!!!! Now, with Google Android (hopefully it will be as good as Windows) coming out and saying: “Hey, look at this OS, it’s free” is a really big scare for Microsoft. Personally, I may never go off Windows, but then again Google could change that……..
