There seems to be a lot of interest (understandably) in the Archos 70 8gb: www.amazon.com Android internet tablet so I felt compelled to update everyone on my experience with the Archos 70 . Did you ever dream of a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen Logitech Harmony remote? Well now you can have one, sort of. I took this as an opportunity to show off the Logitech Harmony Android app that works in conjunction with the Logitech Revue (Google TV) set top box to deliver full universal remote control functionality to this 7 inch Android tab. To my knowledge this is the only video demonstrating the Harmony software on any Android tab to date. Enjoy! -TDD Get your 32GB microsd card: www.amazon.com 16gb: www.amazon.com

Just compare this now £150 tablet for 250GB of HDD and all the rest. My Samsung Galaxy S back when I got it would cost about the same as the cheapest iPad new. It’s pretty amazing. OK it’s not perfect but you can haul content around and with a bit of fiddling it’s great.

1 bad feature of it is that it has a weak screen. I dropped it the first day i got it (less than 1ft above ground) and the screen cracked luckily I have my insurance covered to get a new one
can you do a tutorial on how to install froyo 2.2 please?
many thanks
