People who have trouble with connecting to google, forum.cyanogenmod.com Link to the page on SDX, forum.sdx-developers.com page 2 and beyond has useful information for people willing to read. The Moment has been recalled. Just click that link and listen to that shortened version of the 47 minute phone call. If you complain about data lock ups and gps issues, you will get an Intercept or Hero. At least the Hero has OFFICIAL STABLE Android 2.2 from Cyanogen. I finally got Android 2.2.1 to work on the Samsung Moment! It's very early in it's life. Wifi works but you have to set up a static ip (which i show in this video) and then everything works! @cheezo545 you can do it from 2.1 or 2.2 or 2.3 or even 1.5. it doesn’t matter! all you need is custom recovery and you could be on 2.9.9! lol

@lowranger115999 really, seriously dude? I thought seriously about blocking you but then I thought twice about it and maybe your just playin around. But that’s why I shut my bedroom door, then go in the closet and shut that door as well! So that it muffles out her loudness. I know she is loud, but come on. She is my daughter and I can’t just put her outside or something. I don’t live in that house (where I recorded this video more than 7 months ago), so don’t worry about it happening again.

@wwjoshdew Is it pretty stable? Can you use it daily? I had a friend try to throw 2.1 and custom interface and colors to it, now it won’t accept app downloads (says no room) yet says I have 15 app updates, all kinds of shit, it sucks.

@quickbeeare haha. yeah, every moment owner (even older family members) are like, make mine like that! My step brothers phone was slow as hell and took SEVERAL minutes to start up. Now he can power it off, and FORTY SECONDS after pressing the power button, he can use it. And that’s why my step mom is saying, you need to make mine like that. EXT4 is the way to go! lol

Pleasse.. how did you get the cyanogenmod onto the samsung moment…can you please give me the steps on how to root my samsung moment and get the CM 6.1 onto my phone with the google apps. I got it on an htc hero and now I want it on my samsung moment. Can you please help me with that I would really appreciate that so much.
