@kingkonggarden Add to that the fact that the Moment has terrible battery life, problems with data lock up, and no multi-touch support you can see why I’m picking up a cheap HTC Hero off ebay. You would be lucky if your Moment would last a day on a single charge even with little to no use. The Moment uses an overclocked processor it’s default clocks I believe are 667 MHz so clocking it to 800 MHz kills it’s battery life. Your data stops working if you use wifi for a while and needs a restart.

    12. joshsniper27 Says:

@kingkonggarden The Moment isn’t able to receive Android 2.2. In fact the Hero has custom 2.2 Roms and the Moment doesn’t even have one yet. The Moment also is laggier than the Hero due to the lack of graphics acceleration. The hardware may be better in the Moment but there is no reason to have better hardware if there are no drivers for it. I have the Moment and I’ve been waiting 6 months for a developer to write a hardware driver that is barely half done. The Moment is worse than the Hero.

    13. joshsniper27 Says:

@Jackj28 the operating system is called android not droid. droid is the verizon branding for all their android stuff.

    14. 300kbTyler Says:

@evdude669 oh i forgot to say my spanish teacher got the evo and she giving me the hero

    15. evdude669 Says:

@300kbTyler how are you getting it for free??

    16. 300kbTyler Says:

cant wait till monday when i get mines for free, i cant stop thinking bout it

    17. iBELiKESHiTx Says:

@Jackj28 Hey, do you like the Hero? Do you like the messaging features?

    18. kingkonggarden Says:

@maggiem2847 It is a with Google phone.

    19. kingkonggarden Says:

@MiSsNiCoLe10ify Check out the Samsung Moment it might just change your mind!

    20. kingkonggarden Says:

      @maggiem2847 Get The Samsung Moment.

    21. kingkonggarden Says:

@thedeadbeats The Samsung Moment is Android 2.1 and able to recieve android 2.2. It has a full slide out Qwerty keyboard and no blinking light. It has a way faster processor than the Htc Hero which means its alot faster.

    22. maggiem2847 Says:

Have been looking to upgrade and I know this phone is older now compared to Epic 4g and Evo, but they just seem to big and have the extra $10 month to pay. This doesn’t have a slideout keyboard, which I’m used to, but wanted android phone with touch screen and pinch an zoom, do you recommend this one?

    23. maggiem2847 Says:

It looks like most of the email and messaging functions are connected only to gmail. If I use yahoo mail, is that going to work with allthe features you talked about? And when you receive a message is there a way to notify with a larger icon or something?

    24. thedeadbeats Says:

man i want to get this but why do they have to have that blinking green light on top… i think it’d drive me nuts. do all phones like this have that?

    25. MiSsNiCoLe10ify Says:

im gettin mine 4 christmas i cnt wait dat fone iz so… amazing
