This is not the G2 the G2 is the Magic as the Magic was the second android device after G1(dream). Hero is considered G3.

Well in my opinion the best g1 update would be 3 possibilities
1: have a flash in the camer because the camera has very bad lighting
2: be able to have a signature when texting
3: have an insert for earphones like an iPhone
I have a question
When importing pictures to a pc or mac the picture duplicates so then I have to delete the extra ones, please answer question or reply a suggestion

Is it slimmer?
had a hold of the g2 and it was very thin!
at least it was for what i was expecting.
I guess HTC just wanted to get on par with Apple(?)

true, but the g1 is slimer than this phone and less bulkier than this phone and it has a physical keyboard .

G1 is better…. btw people who contemplating which to buy… the G2 is pretty much i downgrade from the G1… and if u dont thinks so… you can get the
G2 software on the G1 so you have all what G2 and G1 have to offer… in the better of the two (G1)

Yeah but physical keyboard would have to make it bulkier too.

yeah but with an onscreen keyboard you can type the letter R and comes out as an F because its to small and not as responsive as the G1 because with a manual keyboard your finger is on the button you want and its no mistakes
