I’ve no clue is my network is going to EVER get this update out so I may have to go the rooted phone route before long if I want all the 2.1 goodies.

Screw HTC. This is exactly the reason i’m switching to 3 and Apple iPhone 4.

Although I use HTC Hero I can say for sure that iPhone 4 is far better than any Android device out there. I liked my iPhone 2G better than my HTC Hero. It was a lot faster. Hero is slow and all the apps feel like they are unfinished. I am waiting for the 2.1 update since February and still no luck.

I’m considering buying an android device.
Question: At :26 there is a home screen I see again and again with this big calendar and sun display that takes up the top third of the screen, that I do not like. Can this be removed? Or is this a card system?
What are the options native to android 2.1 for configuring the desktop? Thanks!

@siljelinden yes, because if he had recorded with an hero, we wouldn’t have been able to see what he was doing, since it records like 2 frames per second, and it sucks in slightly darker rooms. I hate HTC hero. Mine was messed up from when i bought it, and I will send it back to HTC for the second time now. When I get i back i will totaly sell it and buy iPown.
