Your right! It is safer! With a normal wallet a thief can simply take the money! Whereas if you lose your Google Wallet™ a thief first needs to spend 15 minutes brute-forcing it before getting your life savings!

I wouldn’t jump into it at this time. I would wait for bug fixes and any other fixes that may come up.

Its been exposed that this app is not secured on a number of different phones. The tech is Just too new to be safe. Give it a couple more years.

Google Wallet has a pin code. So no different then them having your card, but they can’t make purchases over $50. So it is safer than losing your wallet.
