Evening my fellow droids,
I have watched and read all the relevant information regarding the use of Google voice search but I am unable to get it to function correctly. For example, saying “Call house phone” , Google goes online and finds me deals for house phone lines, similarly: “play led Zeppelin Immigrant song”, again, it goes online rather than following the command.
Any ideas?

When I try this with email it never puts an email address in. It just puts everything in the message box. Anybody know what’s up with that?

Go to the xda developers website, locate your phone in the forums, and install a new Gingerbread ROM!!!
I’m on 2.3.4 on my Galaxy S with video talk enabled.

Doesn’t work worth a crap. Tried having it Call Leslie at home and it pulled up Leslie’s Pools. Didn’t recognize any of my contact names but kept pulling up businesses.

Seems useless. Is it because I’m British and it doesn’t pick up my voice? Haven’t managed to get it to launch a call or text once. Strangely enough, it recognises ‘call Diana at home’ but then searches Google for ‘call Diana at home’.
The navigation launches pretty well. As does directions.
Be warned, if your girlfriend is called Diana and you’re trying to’ call her on her mobile’, you may find yourself inquiring about gall bladder removal.

Just updated the app in the UK.
Doesn’t work in the slightest.
And your sending a text totally by voice? You still had to press send!
