Posted on 14 November 2011 by admin

LauncherPro is a great replacement home app for the Droid X, but since we have a large amount of RAM, we can change some of the default settings to make it run even faster! This is the way the Android UI should have been from the start! Get my custom, Droid X themed version below: bit.ly For updates, etc, follow me on Twitter: twitter.com

      How did you get your calendar setup like you have it. The screen I am referring to is the 2 screen to the left of your clock screen.

    11. razor0freak2 Says:

      @yfzfofitty06 That clock thing is a widget from an app called beautiful widgets. It’s like $3 on the market

    12. yfzfofitty06 Says:

    19. ShayDaGreenQueen Says:

      @FabolousTT Okay thanks :)

    20. FabolousTT Says:

      @paycer It shouldn’t consume any more battery life than the stock launcher. I think it just uses CPU cycles more efficiently.

      This video has officially caused me to choose the DX over the DI. The main reason I had even the slightest urge to get the DI was the Sense UI. I realize that Froyo is coming to the DX probably very soon, – Probably as soon as the Droid 2 is released, so I was thinking of going with the DX anyway, but this has made me set on the DX for sure.

      Just one thing. Does using LauncherPro + your settings with it cause the battery life to go down significantly? Have you noticed any difference? Thanks. :)

    22. ilOsirhC Says:

      @FabolousTT ah sweet! thanks so much

    23. FabolousTT Says:

      @ShayDaGreenQueen I think that Sense UI by default is better than the Blur that the DX comes with, but I’d replace Sense with LauncherPro anyways. I think what should determine if you want the DI or DX is the screen size. Also, you should take into account that the DX has better battery life, reception, and call quality than the DI, if that’s important to you.

    24. ShayDaGreenQueen Says:

      Would it be recomended to get the droid incredible over the droid x for someone who wants a less complicated phone?

    25. trdracer21 Says:

      i think instead of high on memory usage i use moderate and it scrolls alot faster
