Thanks, it worked great with your instructions. Luv ur video, and also ur website!
Now I just need to find a video to show me how to hook up my bluetooth so I can talk “hands free”.
Do you have a video for that?
I have a Droid Eris and I’m having problems with setting up the outgoing email. I have it set up to receive incoming and it’s coiming in just fine but outgoing doesn’t work and I tried your instructions.
can someone tell me how to set it up for Optonline ?????????????????????????? they make it so mother fucking impossible it rediculous i want to throw the fucking phone out the window
Make sure one of your other email accounts isn’t set as the default email account. As soon as I changed that I was able to receive yahoo mail on my droid (again).
I set up 3 yahoo email accounts perfectly with your video. However now when I try to go in and access them once I click on the account it opens up and then says invalid username or password. But they did work for the first day just fine. This has happened twice to me. Any suggestions??
@ShinFuYux I wouldn’t wait even given this small issue I absolutely love this phone. It is blazing fast & my Gmail and other email seem to work fine. And the yahoo email is working again as of now.
I was thinking of getting this phone, counting that I only have verizon as a cellphone carrier. So, before I went out and bought it I remembered that my Itouch has this mail app and it always informs me if I get an email in Yahoo and in Gmail. But now reading the comments here, should I like…wait until this problem is fixed?
Used this vid ,worked 4 about 3 days then stopped working. Verizon techs have no clue how 2 resolve & say you have 2 have a premium yahoo account for this2 work which is not true. Today I started getting the unable to connect to server. I deleted the yahoo email account on the droid then tried setting the yahoo account up again several times & finally on the 4th try it worked. Not sure how long it will work this time but for now its good. Anyone know a permanent fix 2 resolve this issue?
idk about droid.. but this process worked on my samsung moment… it was giving me the same issue first with the password then with saying can’t connect to server… did what the video said and it connected me right away and brought up all my emails… i have a free account with yahoo.. not in classic mode.. thanks!!
I following the instructions but when I go to “next” it tells me that my id or password are incorrect. I have reentered it numerous times and still get the same message.
I already setup my yahoo email on my droid and works fine. I have one problem.
I continue receiving the same emails on my droid. I receive an email on my droid and I delete it, after one week, I get the same email again. Is there a way to fix that.
When I did the initial setup on my droid, I received over 1,000 old emails that were on my yahoo account.
Thanks Sooooo Much!! You are a life saver! I have the droid incredible a few things are different but I was able to follow along with you to get it set up. I would have NEVER figured this out!
Anyone had problems with Yahoo email on your Droid. I delete emails from the phone and they continue to return sometimes several days later and the emails I deleted show up again in my inbox. I have spent several hours on the phone and still not resolved. Has anyone had these problems? If you know a fix please let me know as this is very bothersome.
gotta say thanks. I just got connected in 5 minutes watching this after spending 40 minutes on “tech support” with Verizon and NOT resolving the issue. You rock! (I have the Incredible, by the way and it worked perfectly)
OMG!!!! thank U!!!!! I’ve been trying this so long…. ever since I got the Android Sony SmartPhone Flagship Xperia x10, its been like an nightmare lol I called Rogers, which is the phone provider network services, the tech went through many steps with me and couldnt help but said she will call me back on it, but didnt. So I still search through the net about a solution on it, and I found so many mediocre answers, until I saw this video. Dude! You are the Man! If should get an award for this. You ROCK! ^_^
