   You forgot to mention the fact that iTunes is RIDICULOUSLY slow, I don’t know if there’s something like that for the droid but maaaan, mac is really good at making things look pretty but at the sake of responsiveness? Thanks but no thanks.

   As a company, apple are like spoilt, arrogant, rich little children who have all the best toys, and control the people who want to use their toys (“you can`t do that, it`s mine”!).
   BUT, some new, better stuff is becoming available from friendlier, more open people who will kick apple`s ass, then apple will have no friends………

   verizons smarkphone/blackberry (unlimited) data plan is $29 a month. i know. i have it.

   I think they are both great phones, although with a phone like these you want Unlimited Data Plans. AT&T is $30/month and Verizon’s is $45 =/

   You can take the governor of both phones (the Droid was recently rooted). But while the Apple is stuck with a v6, the Droid has a big block v8.

   Also Apple is starting to put the governor back on the iPhone.

   u guys all noticed the choppiness of the droid’s scrolling right? i mean i’m all for something taking apple down a notch but theres got to be a way to mimic the smoothness of the iPhone…

    I definitely will be picking up the Droid in the next week, of course their will never be a iPhone killer,its just like WoW it just gets better with progress but the Droid has put a huge Dent in the iphones hold on the crowd

    These are the kinds of things that can happen when one company has too much control. Apple controls the hardware AND software, AND they want to keep it that way. So it will be much harder to crack the iPhone when they really decide to put the chains on.

    Yes there are going to be some very persistent hackers who will probably get past their security, however, with the constant back and forth, jailbreaking will no longer be easy which will eventually alienate their hard core users. Too bad…

    You know, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to develop a program that will take the restraints off of apples iphones. I’m not saying just anyone will know how to develop something to jailbreak their phone. But when you take a basic programming class and or computer science class in highschool it shouldnt be that difficult. Just face that the iphone is years ahead of its time in comparison to other phones

    I agree I jailbroke my ipod touch so i could customize, I would buy this phone and unlock it for at&t but my service sucks so i don’t have internet oh well the droid is awesome

    And its only a matter of time till theres an android app that emulates any iphone apps on the android for does that really like spending 3hours playing crappy games on a tiny screen..
