@ syndicate you said it best both these phones are great they are in my mind the best phones on Verizon besides the fascinate and Droid 2 global. But I have the Droid X and love every second of it but I was in love with the incredible at first I ordered it right after I graduated from high school but they were on back order so when july 15 came I cancelled my order and picked up my massive 4.3 inch Droid X and I gotta admit why not get a phone that only does everything.

@ShayDaGreenQueen they are both equal just decide what you want. D inc has optical pad, and fits more comfortably in the hand, while the DX has a larger & brighter screen has better call quality, and longer battery life. they also have different user interfaces and i like HTCs a little more. i have the DX and i love it you cant go wrong with either phone. dont let the size of the DX hold you back youll get used to that.

I wish these reviews would go into more detail about E-mail, contacts and Calendar options. Personally, I could care less about the camera and video recorder.

For only occasional telephone use and mostly Web and multimedia, which phone would you recommend? I am thinking of dropping my landline to allay some of the potential Smartphone access charges.
Currently I just use (you may laugh) a Tracfone plus Google Voice for LD.
