Motorola Xoom with Google maps and Navigation working without Wifi or 3g connection... I drove from Houston Texas to New Mexico and back covering close to 2000 miles and Google map was able to track me all the way because of the Internal GPS chip I guess..
@Mrsmafiozaki 800 euros, that a lot. SO I think you are going for the one with 3g. The other day it was in woot for 400 dlls refurbished but I couldn’t buy it. Well I buy it buy I do not know why it did go though. Then I bought one used for the internet for 400 usd.
But 800 euros is why to much! Hope you get ir soon. Or you can save little by little an get the xoom2 it will be realeaased in the end of the year or earlier.= )

Im confused. Did the Google Maps need internet connection for maps? Or you have the save map on memory of xoom?

@mortenlu Yep it caches a approximate areas you travel frequently.

Creating routes wont work without a connection, but it will cache the route (including reroutes afaik) so that you can drive it without a connection.
