This is my first vid of my G1[ROOTED], i'm running cyanogen 3.6.8.1 with one of my custom themes(not from the market), along with the Hero clock and music, i didn't have install the hero rom or theme, due to the fact that every rom i tried was hella laggy after a few hours of observation, and the theme was ok but i like mine better, the only thing i really liked about hero was the widgets(no offense to anybody that has Hero), but everybody has their own opinion, but i'll be posting more vids often, G1 vids, dance vids, and other hilarious vids, so please comment with opinions, questions or just show to love.........oh and sorry for tha dark vid

root gives u acces to features and apps that and unrooted phone can’t do or have, there are roms that can speed up your phone and give u features of other phones and ones that no other phone can aquire, and soooo much more, it’s definitly worth it

check this out, BEAUTIFUL WIDGETS. does yours have an animation? YOU CAN DOWNLOAD FREE APPS ON 4shared . com. type in the name of the app and if you find the file, it should be a (.apk) file. first install astro as a file manager. install using astro file manager from market. you can download from 4shared from using your android phone.

the weather app is in market, it is called beautiful widgets. the theme is no longer available, but i can help you get the exact same weather widget

ok i think u missed a step in rooting your G1, did u follow coolpstuts rooting vid, if u follow his instructions exactly as he says then you’ll be rooted in no time, that’s the one i used, but when i had that problem i started the whole process from the over from the beginning and it worked fine, but if not let me kno, sorry for being late, hit me up on Gtalk(knowledge8701) if u need anything

I don’t have it yet…I’m wanting to upgrade to it. So it would have to be rooted to get all this? I’m just really interested in that time/weather widget is all though lol.

it’s possible, is it rooted, this theme is on an old rom, i can try to port it to a updated version of cyanogen

@WMuntouchable06 wen i got to the email set up s in say if you turned on the phone for the first time when it says enter in email and password it goes trying to connect to google services then dose that for a min then says something about unable to connect to google services
