Posted on 20 November 2011 by admin

UPDATE: z4root does not work anymore. Use the latest SuperOneClick from shortfuse.org Download www.multiupload.com Developer: forum.xda-developers.com Rooting a Rogers Sony Ericsson X10a running the Global generic Android v2.1 (Eclair) firmware using SuperOneClick. Rooting does NOT make the Market free nor does it unlock your phone. It allows you to run applications such as Titanium Backup, Barnacle WiFi tether, etc. as well as uninstall system applications like Moxier or install system applications such as the updated Gingerbread YouTube application: www.youtube.com Works on ANY X10 running 2.1. Does NOT unlock your phone. Does NOT re-lock your unlocked phone. (SIM lock and rooting are independent.)
