DOWNLOAD:droidmuff.in This is a *BETA* Version of Swype...If you have no idea what Swype is a keyboard where you "swipe" your finger from one key to another in order to create words. Currently this technology is only avalible on the Samsung Omnia II for VZW. Here I show you it working on the Droid....it will work on any Android phone...Hero, Eris, G1, Mytouch3g etc. This should be released onto the Android Marketplace shortly. You type that slow with the HW keyb? Is it possible for swype to beat a hw keyb? I think not.

February 10th, 2010 at 4:18 am
@wonderbread57 Nope sorry it doesnt allow you to do that but then again this is beta but I know it doesnt allow you do to this on the OmniaII so it probably won’t work on the final version of Android

The DROID does have multitouch but I have a different question. Can you swipe the space button too and thus write multiple words in one swype?
February 10th, 2010 at 5:02 am
Well I’m not typing faster but i can get at the same speed with swype that i can with the classic. Since theres no multitouch on the Droid..Swype allows you to type at a ridacolous 50 wpm while the lack of multitouch you can only reach about 30-35
February 10th, 2010 at 5:54 am
Well it doesn’t seem to be faster than a classic keyboard Isn’t it ?
